I've seen this book cover several times during my visits to the bookstore. I have never read Carter's work before, so I'm not sure what I am getting myself into. If the book lives up to it's synopsis, this should be a good read.
I bought this book several months ago but I never got around to reading it. Good reason though. This book came out around the same time as Collin's Catching Fire (a book I'd been anticipating for a year). Long story short, Fire got placed on my bookshelf and I am just now picking it up.
I am excited to read this book. Fire is the companion to Cashore's Graceling (a book I really enjoyed). Hopefully this book will be just as entertaining.
This is the tenth (and final) volume of the Georgia Nicolson stories. I've had many ups and downs with this series so I am a little anxious of what is ahead of me. I will leave a review as soon as I finish.
Like the rest of the world, I enjoyed Meyer's Twilight series. It was inevitable this book would eventually land on my reading list. Even though it is a short story, it has taken me a while to finally pick it up. As a companion to the Eclipse story, I'm certain I will enjoy it.
This book was recommended to me by a friend. For some reason I like reading books about English teens. Perhaps it's the accent? Who knows? Given the glowing endorsement, I anticipate this will be a fun novel.
Recently I've been reading YA books back to back. I hope I'm not over doing it.
I got this book because the book cover has a picture of a hot guy with wings. Probably not the best reason to buy a book but I'm curious. After getting the book I started reading the reviews…not so good.
Regardless, I will give it a try and see what I think.
I've just begun reading Louise Rennison's Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging. Hopefully I will enjoy the book just as much as I enjoyed the movie.
True Blue by David Baldacci
I'm reading David Baldacci's True Blue this week. I'm a fan of his work so this should be good.
Blood Noir by Laurell K. Hamilton
I began reading Laurell K. Hamilton's Blood Noir today. This book is apart of the Anita Blake vampire series. This is my second attempt to review this series. I read Skin Trade earlier this year and I didn't enjoy it as much as I'd hoped. Hopefully this book will be a winner.
Legacy by Cayla Kluver
I started reading Cayla Kluver's Legacy this week. Legacy received a lot of buzz upon it's release, partly because the author was sixteen when she wrote the novel. Although I'd prefer to read the actual book, this time I got the audiobook. This is a really busy period for me so I made a compromise with myself to listen to the audiobook while I'm running errands around town. I'll post a book review as soon as I'm done.
